Not the best photo I know, but considering I took this shot of a fox that was about 100m away through my telescope using my handheld pocket rocket Nikon Coolpix, I didn't think it came out too bad.
I was out doing a wildfowl count and the fox was on the opposite side of the lake from me.

Thats pretty good Adam!
What method did you use, camera settings, focussing etc?
Mine like this always end up in a circle, then I crop using software on the PC.
Always useful to know to record rare bird sightings without a long lens in the back pocket etc................I wish.

I was on auto focus with the anti shake on. I will have to go and check what the technical stuff was. I really am a point and shoot merchant with my pocket rocket. Rarely take photo's of 'mobile' wildlife unless it's something worthwhile.
