| | | Re: Mystery Tracks I'd go for Roe Deer too. The splaying often occurs on very soft ground, which is also when you'll see the marks of the dew claws. On firm ground the foot doesn't usually sink in deep enough for these to show.
Does Roe Deer make sense for your location?

Their walking tracks have peppered the field and they are quite regularly seen - I have just not found the running tracks before!
