Have you ever surveyed mammals in the UK?
More specifically, do you have experience surveying woodland mammals?
And finally, do you want to help represent your geographic region in a UK wide study?
Unfortunately, this post is not advertising a job; however, your experience, knowledge and aspirations could support the future of mammal surveying in the UK.
A short online questionnaire aims to investigate the current use of different survey methods, perspectives, and proposals for the future. If you are able to complete and/or disseminate this questionnaire to colleagues and contacts involved in mammal surveying (excluding small mammals, bats and marine species), I would greatly appreciate your support.
I believe by maximising participation, the results may be more representative of the views of UK mammal surveyors, thereby increasing the validity of conclusions and providing greater power for recommendations.
The questionnaire can be found via The Mammal Society website and will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete:
