Just like 'Welsh Dragon Sausages'...... Dragon Sausages
Trading standards do not accept that Welsh Dragons are still available. You need a virgin to entice one into captivity and they haven't been seen in Wales for many years. |

| | | Re: Best county for Wildlife The West Coast of Scotland is also a superb place with some awesome wildlife ...... but can be quite lacking in Haggis at times but those square sausages can normally be located without too much effort
Has for Dragon sausages...... i thought the virgin bit only applied to Unicorns |

| | | Re: Best county for Wildlife My mum lived in Winchester, which I always enjoyed visiting as there are lovely walks by the river and in the water meadows as well as the cathedral area. It's also close to the coast and the New Forest. The South Downs are fantastic for walks and wildlife.
Downsides to Winchester: very hilly, pretty indifferent shopping, gridlocked traffic sometimes and very expensive housing!
Personally I'd always look for a place with plenty of cultural life eg with a Uni or college nearby and the possibilities of good clubs related to your interests, so esp in winter you can go to talks or go out on trips.
Dorset is absolutely lovely as well and also I'd consider Exeter, where you have the best of all worlds: Dartmoor, Exmoor, the coast, a Uni, the river etc. Sarah |

| | | Re: Best county for Wildlife So I was thinking... It seems as though I'd like Devon, Hampshire, and Dorset. [I'm still going to check out Kent and Essex, prolly Suffolk too!] Winchester seems like the best city...And as long as there is a Waterstone or Borders and a nice Tesco, I'll be good ;D. I'd like to be able to live close to Surrey though, because I was looking into working at the British Wildlife Centre which is located just north of Crawley.
Also, where I live we have.. mammals; fox, raccoon, deer, opossum, skunk, chipmunk, squirrel and once and a while black bear.
reptiles and amphibians; garter snake, TOADS D; , painted turtle, frogs, and salamanders
birds; chickadees, jays, titmouse, cardinals, and nuthatch
Anyone have an opinion of Fife in Scotland?
While I was staying in Waltham Abbey, I went into London and one of the stops was "Cockfockers" I mean "Cockfosters" I couldn't help but chuckle xD.
