| | | Re: Fox photography people arent likely to share their locations that easily - both from fear of the foxes being shot , but more so from the issues of disturbance both of the fox and also of relations with the landowner.
you really need to find your own - try wandering arround just after dawn and checking out suitable locales - see david macdonalds book running with the fox or more on theur habits
you could also try feeding in your own garden as foxes are quite common in urban areas.
and finally if you purely want to photograph wild looking foxes - the easiest way is at a collection like wildwood in kent or the british wildlife centre at ling field surrey

| | | Re: Fox photography I'm with eeyore on this. After some bitter experiences, I will not reveal the location of my wildlife photographs. Neither would I expect anyone else to reveal their locations.
It may seem churlish, I know but on more than one occasion animals have been either killed or driven away through unthinking intrusions into their territories.
I'll give you one tip though, foxes go mad for jam sandwiches, so if you find an area where you think foxes may be in the vicinity, put out a jam sandwich, hide yourself and keep perfectly still and without noise for a couple of hours either side of dawn or sunset - you may just get lucky.
Don't do what one would -be wildlife photographer did and sit there smoking innumerable fags whilst he waited for badgers. Surprise, surprise - they never appeared!!!! |

| | | Re: Fox photography You could try Ashridge, I've seen a number of foxes there after the visitors have gone home, looking for discarded sandwiches.
Possibly not so good for photography though due to the time of day the foxes appear.
