Hi Folks,

Can someone confirm that if a buidling has received council permission to be demolished, and bats are later found to be roosting/suspected of roosting, then a full bat survey would still need to be carried out before works commenced?

Yes, certainly - as long as the 'suspicions' are reasonable. A vague "I think there are bats there" probably wouldn't cut the mustard. Best to ask Natural England.
