Otter Chattering Teeth?

Managed to snap some pics on the riverbank in the failing light today.



Once the otter had seen me, he didnt seem particularly bothered about concealing himself (I was on a public right-of-way by the way) but I did hear a noise that sounded distinctly like a chattering of teeth. Would this be an otter noise?



You can see from this shot that the otter also seems to have bared his teeth. Would this be some form of aggression do you think?

I saw my only Otter in the wild a couple of years back on wilts/somerset border and by the time I had the camera up all I got was a picture of a swollen brook

possible a warning to other otters that danger is around?

More likely its feeding on a crayfish or mussel than chattering its teeth. Ive not hear of them chattering teeth before.
