| | | Bat help. Just found a bat flying around my living room, I think he may have been sleeping in the attic, should I put him back there, or was he trying to find his way out, or is he hungry?should I give him some food, should I let him go outside, I will have to find him first lol, anyone know whats best for him. | | | Re: Bat help. Unless it is well below zero, or blowing a gale it is best to let him go outside - he will know where to go to keep safe and dry.

Thanks for the quick reply Thunder, its blowing a gale here at the moment, so I m going to try and catch him and put in a shoe box for the night with water and meal worms, and place the whole thing in the dovecote tomorrow which has a dove in the bottom, and nothing in the top half, its all insulated, so will be much warmer than the attic, and its opposite the house, so he can fly out though the dove hole tomorrow night and find his way back in the attic himself, thanks for the information.
