| | | urban foxes on warm ashes Foxes have lived on wasteland behind our house for the 40 years we've been here and my neighbour [about to emigrate to NZ] has been bonfiring house waste for a week during the recent sub-zero temperatures. This morning, with the thaw in full swing, the foxes have been warming themselves on the warm ashes as pic shows

I've seen domestic cats doing the same thing: indeed, I once saw one walking off with its fur smouldering: hope that didn't happen to the foxes tails! |
