| | | Animal Footprint Mystery Hello
I'm new here and wondered if anyone could help. We found some footprints in he snow yesterday and although I have looked at numerous sites to identify them, I have been unsuccessful.
Does anyone know what animal these prints belong to? IMG_10631 - Wild About Britain Pics
Thank you |

Thank you | Hi,
from the BBC Autumn watch / snow watch site - http://downloads.bbc.co.uk/breathing...umn_tracks.pdf

| | | Re: Animal Footprint Mystery Thanks everyone, so does that mean the print shown is not of a single foot, but of both the Rabbit's feet, showing the front and heel of the feet, with front of feet pointing towards each other? |

| | | Re: Animal Footprint Mystery the print is of all 4 of the rabbits feet the rear being further apart than the front and I would suggest that the rabbit was moving quite rapidly to produce these tracks |

Remember always smile as you never know when your going to be on camera

| | | Re: Animal Footprint Mystery I agree with the interpretation given by the others, except for one thing: the size is too small for an adult rabbit, but just right for grey squirrel. Compare with the human foot print.
