| | | ID for a rat killer? seen in my local park today while walking my puppy, was wondering what could have done this to this little chap~?  mostly because im curious and just to see what wildlifes in that particular park? its in the middle of a town near the centre. thanks in advanced! |

| | | Re: ID for a rat killer? As I said I could be wrong but I doubt a fox would worry to much about rats in an urban environment there would be too many easier pickings.A dog would be the next choice there are dog prints around the rat and they look a lot bigger than a puppy's.
As for idiots you can find them anywhere  some of them would call it sport  . |

| | | Re: ID for a rat killer? Yep looks like it was killed by a dog. Stomach missing was probably a scavenger, my money's on another rat. They're far from above cannibalism. I've been trapping them in snap traps, lost 3 traps this week to rats dragging away the carcase!

Im not pro animals and definitely arnt a tree huger, but when theirs absoloutly no reason besides to harm cause distress and hurt then sometimes its justified. |
