I doubt it simply down to luck. To get the photos Snake does must be down to a good number of hours spent outdoors and no little amount of skill.

I reckon you are right there Jonathan, i just wish i had more time to get out and about with the camera, just another 5 years until i retire then i know what is going to take up my spare time.

You are quite right about the time I spend out with the camera, this time of the year only about four or five hours a day.
When the weathers better and the days are longer I am never at home, I love it.
This little chap I photographed from the truck window. I was sitting quietly
having a cup of coffee and noticed him working along the ditch bank towards me. He came quite close them must have realised I was there and that was when he raised himself up to have a good look.
He posed long enough for me to get a few pics then swam the ditch and carried on with his hunting.
