Naughty Squirrel

Hi all,

Just wanted to ask my fellow squirrel lovers and feeders whether they have experienced this too.

My little female comes to the door and waits, and if we don't come out and feed her or there isn't anything there she pees in protest! Just a tiny puddle mind, but still!!

Anyone else experienced the same from these petulant pickles?

Hi Gem I have not heard of this action before,the one that pinches grapes just bangs on the glass or sits on a neighbours shed and chatters angrily if no food is available
there is a long running thread on grey squirrels on this site

Yeah a few have done it over the years, attention seeking little critters.

Pinches grapes? how funny.

I read the thread regarding their introduction etc etc, I think the reds are adorable of course, but we have to make the most of what we have, the poor things didn't ask to come over, it's not their fault.

Anyway, I don't wanna start that debate up hehe

A few years ago one paused on the pavement in front of me and sat up "begging", I did not have anything to offer it but out of fun picked up a cigarette end and chucked it to it, it then stooped down and sniffed at it for a moment and then did a little dance in front of me and chattered what I assume were a load of squirrelese obscenities at me before scampering off in obvious disgust!
