Thanks for the offer. It is actually Animals in need in Little Irchester that I take them to. That must be quite close to you, or do you work there?
It is about a 45 mile round trip (sometimes longer when I get lost)

i know the place but i don't work there its about 5/10 mins away from me.

i care for them at home, bigger ones that need feeding up are kept in a nice warm shed (with heater) and sick/injured or babes are kept in the house

thats a long trip

I’m so glad he made it through the night and hope he continues to thrive. You must be feeling very pleased (not to mention relieved that you can get a good night’s sleep tonight!).

I had to laugh today as I left my husband in charge of keeping the bottles topped up with hot water to keep hedgehog warm while I was at work and when I arrived home he had the central heating on for the hedgehog. That is a first for him.

Now you know why it is not that easy for me to rush over there even when it is urgent, Hedgehoggy. I usually make this trip a couple of times this time of year, with baby hedgehogs, as it is the nearest wildlife rescue centre
