| | Re: My Poor Fox I know that this is probably irrelevent, but you might be interested to know that I received an email of photos of a dog that was born with no front legs, someone fell in love with him and took him on and he is now full grown and gets about perfectly on his two back legs. I know it is different circumstances,I know he is living in a domestic situation, I know he has always been like it, and his muscles will have adapted from birth, but I thought that you,Bingo's Mum, might like to know about him. He WALKS on two hind legs, with perfect balance, he doesn't jump, he walks....Posie..... |

When I started reading your post, I thought you were going to say they had built a trolley for the dog, like those we see for dogs who have had their back legs amputated or are paralysed
And Pudding, I take my hat off to you and Bingo. Even with domestic dogs and cats, losing a front limb is more difficult to adapt to than losing a rear one. You two have done remarkably well.
Best,
D.

Hi thank you for your kind thoughts for Bingo
Posie… Thank you for your kind words, and for telling us about the dog with no front legs, how thoughtful of you to think of us Thank you
Phoebe…. It was a very hard thing to do as I always say you should let nature take it course and not interfere, but that is so easy to say until you come face to face with it.
I have done all I can and now it is up to Bingo, as long as he comes to me I will feed him
Connerlake… I will keep you all updated with Bingos progress
Christmas is going to be hard, as we shut down for 2 weeks, so I am going to have to come down here to feed him as much as I can
Thank you all for your interest in Bingo he could do with some good luck |

| | Re: My Poor Fox Hi Pudding, isn't there a nightwatchman, or security man on or near the site of your work, who would dish out the food if you supplied it. Or maybe someone living near the place that would help you out. I know you have to be careful who knows about your foxes and pusscat, but maybe one of the animal charities would do the feeds on their travels some of the time, just for that 2 weeks. You could work out a rota, so that you wouldn't have to go every day, but would have peace of mind that he would be OK, cos without that peace of mind you will not enjoy your christmas break....Maybe even there might be a WABber or three that would take a turn.!.....Posie.. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
