nut collection

hello,
i would like to make my own collection of eaten nuts and am looking for advise of where to look for these nuts(near harrow,middlesex), which nuts to include, storage/cases and how to generaly start my collection.

any advise would be appreaciated.

Wait until the spring and then look for the Hazel bushes, which you will easily identify by the catkins. Then rake around under or near the bushes for chewed nuts. (Don't forget to get permission from the land-owner). Dry any nuts slowly at home and store in small boxes. Unless your house is unreasonably damp they will last forever.
