| | | Re: Stoats and finding them This one walked up the river bank,spotted me,swam across the river and walked up the opposite bank.You will see stoats just about anywhere,though finding where there young are will certainly help in your quest for watching them.
Weasels are darker and smaller.
Mink are larger and darker.They should also be eradicated. |

Mink are larger and darker.They should also be eradicated. | I've had the chance to study weasels close-up as we had a nest of them at the bottom of the garden when I was a lad. Their colours vary a lot, ranging from creamy-white to a darker brown.
I agree with you about mink. The sooner we get rid of them, the better. |

Yes, what are those creatures that whizz across the road with their young holding on, like a string of sausages?? They are very small and brown and someone told me they were weasel families. |

Well, one is weaselly recognised, and the other is stoatally different
The weasels I've seen have all been smaller than the stoats. Quote:
