My 1st Red Squirrel

After a invite to photograph these on sat i was very pleased to find a few that were willing to wait for a shot, The shots were not the best as it was a bit dull & i had only my camera body flash to play with. hope to go back ASAP. & when the creek in my neck has gone lol.

I was lucky Gez,in that my first Red Squirrel was drinking from a puddle in a car park near Loch Garten,that was easier,still a bit of journey though for me.Glad you saw one.

My first red squirrels were at Loch Garten too, earlier this year but I didn't have a camera at the time and the light was perfect. just typical!!!. I think they're lovely little creatures.

Hi Jez, well done. I've seen a few red squirrels in my time, but have never been as lucky as you, when it comes to taking a pic of one. There one minute and gone the next!

I didn't realize quite how big their ears are!
