I just wanted to find out if this is a Field Mouse or Rat, we have had field mice under our shed before, but this is probably the biggest one i have seen, and it found a way into our crisp cupboard
btw it loved chicken ones but wasnt keen on steak and onion
Its about 5cm long in body

so if it is a rat are there likely to be more or is it one on an adventure
never had them in the house before so what would be advice on how to deal with them if its a them |

| | | Re: Is this a Field Mouse or a Brown Rat I cannot guarantee that there are not more,the first thing i'd ask myself is how did it get in?and is possible to stop this.When rats enter dwellings and if there are large numbers near dwellings ,I think it is ok to kill them. |

| | | Re: Is this a Field Mouse or a Brown Rat I know for a fact that my garden has the odd rat pop in at night,as is with a lot of gardens,but I do not feel that I need to take action.But if they enter the house,or if there was a population explosion,I would certainly fill differently. |
