| | | Hedgehog poo, possibly?
I found some in the same garden that was definitely hedgehog poo, but it was quite a lot longer. I wasn't too sure about this, though. |

| | | Re: Hedgehog poo, possibly? Looks fairly consistent with hedgehog poo, although they normally have a more tapered end.
Also by size, shape & colour could be from a mustelid, such as a stoat or small feral ferret maybe?
Stoats & ferrets usually like to back into a corner to defecate, but on the other hand when they've got to go ... they've got to go!

| | | Re: Hedgehog poo, possibly? Well .. it can be, but it pretty much depends on what they've been eating.
Neither ferret or stoat poo tends to be particularly twisty though unless they're a bit dehydrated. Small mustelids like these have a fast metabolism and a short digestive tract ... so they normally have to evacuate their bowels as soon as they awaken and every two hours or so thereafter! |

| | | Re: Hedgehog poo, possibly? It reminds me of a rat poo I've seen, as it's quite smooth, but I guess that could be down to what the critter's been gobbling. |

| | | Re: Hedgehog poo, possibly? I like the look of the texture for Hedgehog, but if you put the broken bit back on it's almost 3 inches long, which seems huge. Anyone else? | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
