| | | Re: badger noises What makes you think they are badgers? Usual sounds are grunts, snorts, moans, growls and sometimes screams. |

| | | Re: badger noises I know there are badgers around as they leave e presents in the garden and eat the cow's maize - I didn't hear them myself last night, granny did, but she's used to foxes so we don't think it was that. Also some chewed snails on the doorstep ! |

| | | Re: badger noises Hi,
the only place I know "online" that has wildlife sounds is the British Library archive here British wildlife recordings - Archival Sound Recordings
Though last time I looked they only had one badger recording so not exactly Comprehensive.
Everything else seems to be copyright and nobody wants to share.
But if anybody else knows of a good (free) collection of British Mammal sound recordings I would be most interested. Or maybe sombody has got something they can upload?

| | | Re: badger noises A new link to the sample Badger noises has been made on the Wildcru site: WildCRU | Research | Wildlife diseases
Don't quite know why it has diseases in the title though! | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
