badger noises

Does anyone know of a link where we can hear badger noises, we heard strange noises in the night !. wildlifecru link is broken, thanks.

What makes you think they are badgers? Usual sounds are grunts, snorts, moans, growls and sometimes screams.

I have heard badgers almost twittering - they seem to have an incredible range of sounds - as do foxes actually!

I know there are badgers around as they leave e presents in the garden and eat the cow's maize - I didn't hear them myself last night, granny did, but she's used to foxes so we don't think it was that. Also some chewed snails on the doorstep !

the only place I know "online" that has wildlife sounds is the British Library archive here British wildlife recordings - Archival Sound Recordings

Though last time I looked they only had one badger recording so not exactly Comprehensive.

Everything else seems to be copyright and nobody wants to share.

But if anybody else knows of a good (free) collection of British Mammal sound recordings I would be most interested. Or maybe sombody has got something they can upload?
