Does anyone know of a link where we can hear badger noises, we heard strange noises in the night !. wildlifecru link is broken, thanks. |

What makes you think they are badgers? Usual sounds are grunts, snorts, moans, growls and sometimes screams. |

I have heard badgers almost twittering - they seem to have an incredible range of sounds - as do foxes actually! |

I know there are badgers around as they leave e presents in the garden and eat the cow's maize - I didn't hear them myself last night, granny did, but she's used to foxes so we don't think it was that. Also some chewed snails on the doorstep ! |

Hi,
the only place I know "online" that has wildlife sounds is the British Library archive here British wildlife recordings - Archival Sound Recordings
Though last time I looked they only had one badger recording so not exactly Comprehensive.
Everything else seems to be copyright and nobody wants to share.
But if anybody else knows of a good (free) collection of British Mammal sound recordings I would be most interested. Or maybe sombody has got something they can upload?
