| | | Friendly alien species? Are there any animals that are non native that do no harm to british wildlife that we wouldnt mind taking under our wings?
E.g the wallaby as a feral animal as far as i understand hasnt caused any problems and is a nice addition to our natural wildlife dont you think?
any thoughts? |

| | | Re: Friendly alien species? There are certainly a few introduced species that seem to have settled comfortably into the British ecosystem - Rabbit, Brown hare, Pheasant, Red-legged Partridge and Little Owl spring to mind.

Indeed, all these animals we are missing such as the brown bear the wolves the lynx the list goes on and on suerly we can afford some space to allow certain introduced species to remain...for example i for one could not possibly imagine a countryside without rabbits it just wouldnt seem natural. |
