| | | Injured otter at Vale Wildlife Just thought you might like to see the short video of an Otter we have in at the moment. He was hit by a car last Friday night & cam in with injuriesto his head & one front leg. We x-rayed him which luckily showed no fractures, he was just concussed & badly bruised.
This clip was taken today, showing that he is now almost fully recovered & has a good appetite for fresh trout. YouTube - Otter 15 July 2009

| | | Re: Injured otter at Vale Wildlife Fantastic - thank goodness someone rescued him - his right front leg still looks a bit swollen and not as useful as the left - but it does look like he has had a lucky escape and will be able to go and get on with his life soon.

Pauline | Hi Pauline
It was his right front leg that was injured. He wasn't using it at all when he came in, just dragging it which is why we thought there may be a fracture. He has recovered amazingly quickly - he's a very lucky otter. Looking forward to releasing him in a couple of days.
