It was about 18cms long.
Looking at it from a different angle I can see what you mean. That would also explain those weird parts of the bone sticking out.

| | | Re: Another skull for I.D. lol its not that much of a drastic mistake. I just carnt work out where it fits into the anatomy of a skeleton, ive looked at shoulders, hips, breasts and it doesnt look rite for any of these. |

| | | Re: Another skull for I.D. Its the breast bone and pelvic bones of a large-ish bird. In the lower image, the left hand side is the sternum with the breastbone uppermost that seperates the pectoral muscles.
I can't make out ID from the feathers but would suggest something along the lines of pheasant, goose or even buzzard. |
