| | | Bats for ID I realise that these are poor photos, and are heavily copped, but I wonder whether anyone out there might be able to suggest what kind of bat these might be. They were flying around at the edge of some mixed forest, along with pipistrelles (I presume) which were considerably smaller. Size-wise they reminded me of a small little owl, and at times they seemed to chase the smaller bats. I can't see any long ears and wonder whether they might be horseshoe There is not any water especially near, so wouldn't imagine they are Daubentons. Any suggestions would be appreciated, and I might even try again another night. Thanks
