| | | my golden retriver Hi don't really know what i'm doing so bear with me.
I have a 6 year old golden retriever who is a much loved family pet but unfortunatly we cannot live together any more. My health has been rapidly deteriorating over the past two year due to M.S so my dog Archie isn't getting the walks grooming or overall attention he throughly deserves. Also Archie dog has recently been diagnosed with epilsy and has quite violent fits he has medication now which controls them alot but I have two young sons (who the dog is excellent with) and when Archie fits he can't control himself and trashes around putting the children in danger and as my mobilty is poor I can't get the children out of his way. We really don't want to destroy the Archie - as he is such a great dog.
We did try to rehome with the dogs trust but we collected 2 days later (too soft) It didn't seem fair leaving him in kennels when hes used to a warm hallway.
Can anyone help!! |

Where do you live? I just 'googled' for Retriever Rescue with Foster Families, so he will be with people until he gets a permenant home but I don't know where you are in England!
If you want to do it yourself, I'm sure you will find quite a few links - I used 'Golden Retriever Rescue, Foster Family' as the key phrase and it brought up quite a lot of results.
Hope you find a happy solution
