Badger in My Garden

Here is a picture taken a few nights ago of the badger who is visiting every night, he/she comes to within two feet of my open back door.
It is a little out of focus, but lovely to see.

It is lovely to see. You are very lucky. Are you putting out food for it?

Yes every night, half a cup of peanuts and a bowl of water.
The sett is not far from me and there is no need for the badger to cross any roads.
I have been feeding them for years now, I think it is in their genes to visit!!

What a nice badger, hobble. And it looks like it knows you! 1 in 10 gardens have a visiting badger according to a recent RSPB survey of birds and animals in people's back gardens.

I wonder if there are any badgers in my area,,Ive never seen one!
