| | | Re: Hedgehog Poo! description please! Hedgehog droppings are usually blackish, and have a muddy appearance due to the amount of earthworms in their diet.
A warm welcome to WAB.

| | | Re: Hedgehog Poo! description please! Hi Tony,
there's a photo of some hedgehog scat on my site here. It varies in consistency according to what they've been eating, but the 'type' in the photo are probably the most common I see.
Cheers,
Marc. |

| | Re: Hedgehog Poo! description please! Not got just one hedgehog but we have three! One larger than the other two, could it be mother and two grown 'hoglets'? Putting out cat/dog food and they are loving it, also any maggots left behind by the birds.
Whatever light I use to watch them by,they scuttle off into the shubbery, I've tried dim lights, red lights and L.E.D.s, I should like them to get used to lights so my Grandson can see them. What do I do, or is it a question of keep feeding and wait for them to get used to us? Cheers, Tony. |

| | | Re: Hedgehog Poo! description please! I know what you mean. At this time of year I can't be bothered to stay up late enough to watch mine.
If you can manage to use a PC, you're probably technical enough to use one of these devices (information on which which google provided): Hedgehog Camera Box Nest Cameras - Hedgehogs
I'm sure there are many other alternative sellers of infra-red tv apparatus if you already have the requisite home for your spiky mates. |

| | | Re: Hedgehog Poo! description please! Hmmmm.... tis funny that. At my last place they triggered the outside light when mooching across the lawn and it never bothered them at all and it was a cue for me to go see what was out there! I'm sure in time they'll get used to the light
