| | | Lavender eater Hi All,
Has anyone come across wild rabbits that will eat Lavender. Our bush at work in the wildlife garden has been mullered by some form of herbivore. Almost definitely rabbits as we have tons of them and no deer. Just thought it would be too unpalatable for them though, plus the middle of the bush, which is quite high even for a standing rabbit, has been hit too. Any thoughts.
Cheers,
Adam |

| | | Re: Lavender eater What about Rosemary Beetle, Chrysolina americana? This recently naturalised beetle definitely feeds on lavender as well as rosemary + other woody labiates. |

| | | Re: Lavender eater I doubt it Aeshna, this bush has very definitely been browsed and the nearby Rosemary bushes haven't been touched.
