| | | Re: Hedgehogs purring ... There's a brand of food that I used constantly at my last house with a resounding success and it's not meat based so the local moggies weren't interested in it. It's called Rowenas Hedgehog Mix (google it  ) and is fruit and nut based and my hedgehogs went mad for it!
Yes, if you see a hedgehog out and about during the day there's more than likely a problem with it so pick it up and seek help asap ok

| | | Re: Hedgehogs purring ... OK will look for Rowenas Mix. And would certainly look for help with hedgehog, last time people were seeing them was (I think) 2006 when it was very hot. they say this could be a hot year too but there's lots of shade and water here for all beasties. |

He used to make snuffly noises when we put his food out and definately made purring noises but not very often and usually just before scratching and rolling around. I don't know who's going to eat the fallen plums this year now, he loved those
