let me tell you a mouse story . . . . . .. .
I had my bird seed in a plastic container in the garage - that didnt last too long, the mouse sussed that a little nibbled cut would spill the seed.
So, being tight as far as expensive mouse food goes, I put it in a metal tin, that is the bird seed, sorry mouse seed, thinking ha no you dont . .. .. . .
Mouse thinks, ha, ha yes I do!

Its amazing - not only did he/she lever off the lid, but dragged some metal and plastic hosepipe fittings into the tin too, so that the lid wouldnt fall down and trap him/her!
Most of the seed was very nicely husked, after eating, thankyou.
They particularly like sunflowers.
I have put a 10lb weight on the tin now.
Thats not as tight or horrible as you might think - they have a very nice warm time in the well fed compost bin!
Probably woodmice, but I'll keep an eye open.
The description clever doesnt do them justice.

Great stuff!
Cheers
Ken
