| | | Re: Badger pics from last night I am sure they know I am there now and they are really beginning to trust me. I read up that they can distinguish individual human scents and once they get to know yours and they realise its safe that they are not as timid. I have been watching this sett for about 3 weeks now and at first they were emerging at dusk. Gradually they have been coming out earlier and earlier and last night it was 3 hours before dusk. I am getting with in 3ft of them now, I wonder if I will ever manage to feed them by hand? I hope so they are fabulous creatures. Thanks for the kind comments. |

Can i ask why you had to rescue the deer?????
And i strongly recommend you don't hand feed the badgers, i hope you don't think i'm been all bossy but they are wild animals, & for both yours & there safety i think you should just enjoy them at a distance

I hate to ask, but you didn't move the deer, did you? If it wasn't in immediate peril then there's a good chance it was left there deliberately by its mother, who hid it to protect it.
