| | | Leveret or Baby Rabbit? Bit of a snapshot but is this a Leveret or baby Rabbit? My thinking is the former - length of ears + black(ish) tips |

| | | Re: Leveret or Baby Rabbit? Pretty sure this is a leveret: rabbits have a rounder looking head and smaller ears usually lying flat. Lovely shot though. |

Got much better shots but I'm loathe to put one up without an ID (and I've yet to decide whether I'm happy with the draconian "we'll do anything we want with your images" so I'll only up throwaway shots for the present ) |

ID wise Ive consulted my feild guide and i'd say that that is definitely a leveret and IMO its a Gallery quality image.

I'm probably being unreasonable (as I don't take that great a shots and anyone can copy them anyway) but I'm never happy with assigning a sweeping unlimited usage to an organisation I don't know (especially as I know how far you can push a low res image)
Plus all my pics are processed for web display to a max of 800px on the longest side (which I reckon is quite sufficient to get a good idea of the detail/quality without making it too easy for anyone) which'll 'break' the "at least 800px wide" rule on portrait shots (like the above!) |
