Just seen my first fox cubs of the year....

On the same note.

A friend of mine was driving down a quiet country lane close to her house. She came across a Fox that was lying in the middle of the road, she slowed down and the Fox got up and moved into the nearby field, not 1 but 6 tiny Fox cubs got up and followed her. They must have been suckling-bit dangerous doing it in the middle of a quiet road.

She was lucky seeing the Fox and the cubs, i wish i had seen them.

Just been out and seen them again in the same place So pretty sure that's where their den is. Think their mum might be responsible for stealing the chickens from the allotments!!

Have caught sight of a vixen feeding her cubs and them playing on private land adjacent to the country park the last few weeks.Have seen them between 8 and 9am and they seem to be totally safe and at ease! Have noticed that out of the 4 cubs one is a lot smaller than the others. Was wondering if the little'un is an orphan that she has adopted,would this be possible?

I've just got back from feeding my foxes at our local wood but no sign of any cubs yet
As I was driving back along the lane I came across a vixen and SIX cubs playing with an apple in the middle of the road I sat and watched them for about 5 minutes then a car came up behind me at some speed so I revved my engine and they all disapeared into the bushes, hopefully that will make them frightened of cars, it's a quiet lane but we do get the boy racers up there at night sometimes ( as usual I didn't have my camera with me )
I shall go up tomorrow night and hopefully my regular vixens will soon be bringing their cubs to see me

I drive right through your village most weekends on my way to the woods north of kingscliffe,can they be seen from the road? If so is there any chance that you could pm me some details please? I'd love to see the little guys.
