| | | young deer i was in the car on my way to Malam Cove hoping to see the Peregrines ,i didnt, when suddenly a young stag darted through a field hopped over a fence and over the road only to jump over another ending in at the wood, as you could imagine it was a very exciting moment and i was speachless |

| | | Re: young deer I had an impressive Fallow Buck and another deer cross the road just in front of me this morning, as I arrived at Ashridge on the Bucks/Herts border. But there are so many deer there, this is a fairly common occurrence. Its always nice to see them though! |

Frustrating that you don't see a fox though....around here, you only have to look out of the window for a while of a (late) night-time and see one cross the road (and badgers, too.) And this is an urban area! Alternatively, a drive out into the countryside (only up the road) will usually provide at least one sighting of a fox, zipping across in front of the car.
