| | | Re: Hedgehog home I haven't been sure who's been eating the food I leave out for the hedgehog. So last night we set up a pir (Passive InfraRed sensor) to detect anything that moved by the hedgehog house. At 11.50 p.m. the alarm sounded so I rushed out to see what had set it off. It was a hedgehog and he was eating the food I had put out. I watched him in torch light and as soon as he had finished his meal he turned around and quickly walked back up the garden. I had been wondering how he got into my garden. Now I was about to find out. He went to the fence by the side of our house and squeeezed himself underneath a very small space under the fence. I rushed outside but didn't see where he went. No doubt this is the one I saw walking arcoss the road a week ago. Job for today. To make the gap under the fence larger so he can get in easier. |

Good idea making the gap a bit larger, mind you it's suprising how little a gap they can squeeze under eh!
