| | | Baby squirrel I was walking through Eastham woods and up in the trees I heard a lot of squeeks and branch shaking and then I saw something fall out of them. When I went to see what it was I found a little baby squirrel just lying there which was obviosly stunned.
I wasn't sure what I should do because if it had fallen out of its drey there would be no way of getting it back. I wasn't even sure I wanted to put it back because it looked as though it had been bitten (It had a lot of blood on it). In the end I picked it up without any gloves on because the woods are full of dogs who aren't on their leads and took it to the warden/ranger. (Don't worry I washed my hands)
What I'm trying to say is, was it the right thing to do or should I have just left it? I didn't ask the ranger....but it looked so helpless and hurt.....
