I'm away so would have missed the local press.
Being local I found it great, especially that the Evening Star
couldn't see the funny side.
Although it is not stated, I presume that the theatre company
that is behind this, is the
Red Rose Company.
I'm not a great fan of Shakespeare, but for the last few years
we and a party of friends have been to their open air forest
shakespeare productions and they have always been
great
fun ; I never thought I would be able to say that about
the bard.
So to other suffolk WABBERS, book a ticket, you will not be
dissapointed. They have local budding young actors, often
play in modern costume (Romeo and Juliet last year with
hunting toffs and gypsies as opposing families), add in a bit
of song and dance, mulled wine at half time, and picnics
encouraged before the start.
With luck you will see a nightjar and hear an owl, and possibly
get attacked by a bear ............
