Well at least I think it's a pygmy shrew, taken this afternoon through double glazing so not brilliant pics. It is so fast, and just won't go far enough from the wall so I can check the length of the tail. As far as I can see though, it isn't tri-colour, hence my thought that it's pygmy rather than common shrew. Gorgeous little thing though, will keep trying to get some better pics.

Length a bit difficult, but rough guess body length could be about 6cm, if only I could get a good look at the tail! It seems to be the right colour and really does have a very long pointy nose.
