The 17 Beavers that were flown in from Norway and due to be released in Knapdale Forest in Argyllshire are still in quarantine in Devon due to almost all the female Beavers getting pregnant. As Beavers give birth in May it has been decided to prolong the reintroduction until mid July.
Eager Beavers indeed.

Do you know if the male has been caught from the 3 that escaped earlier this year?
Cant wait to hear more about the introductions. Are they being split into small groups? Or one big colony? | | |
