Extinction Timeline

Scientists have just found out that the Lynx became extinct in the UK more recently than first thought.

Any ideas when other creatures became extinct in the UK?

It would be great to add a timeline to the Reference Section that shows how recently we had bears, wolves etc roaming wild around the British Isles.

Anything and everything can be included in the timeline from sabre tooth tigers and bears to beavers and mammoths, butterflies, reptiles and birds
