I've never tried it myself, though if I did a tripod is essential due to lack of light, then a high ISO such as 1600 if you have it.

Could it be a well exposed shot of the inside of a still attached lens hood.

oooh, I wish. No it was a herd of fallow deer. Lovely they were too. Never mind. I did try the night setting, but couldn't hold the camera still enough so all I got was blurs! Think b/f needs to teach me a thing or two about his camera.....  |
