A First For Me

Yesterday whilst sitting in a hide at my local reserve, I noticed all the Coots and Mallards rushing towards the opposite bank making lots of noise. After training my bins on the bank I noticed something running along the edge.
Grabbing my camera and firing lots of shots, I managed to get this shot.
I had no idea I got it on camera or what it was until I got home.
A member friend on here told me it was a Stoat, for someone that has never even seen a fox, I am delighted!

I called the warden to see if it has been seen before. It has not been seen for a while, they also wanted a copy of the picture for their records

Well done, it is really unusual to se a Stoat wading through water, you are certainly on the button with this one. Following your excellant weekend you are on a roll, keep watching the Fox is round the corner.
