| | | Another request to help identify prints, please
They were on a canal towpath in north Shropshire. They came out of the canal, followed the bank for several tens of yards before disappearing down the bank. The man who sent them says "We have an animal that places all four feet approximately in the same place approx a foot apart".
My concern, as ever, is that it might be mink. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance. |

| | | Re: Another request to help identify prints, please It is indeed from either a mink or a polecat, almost impossible to distinguish, but the fact they left the water is a pretty big clue as polecats are terrestrial. So yes Mink. |
