This squirrel had buried this crust the day before then returned next morning to dig it up and eat it

our visitors come in the garden in the morning via my squirrel bridge, nothing elaborate, just an old log washed down the brook and I just let it fall into place! It's super to see them using it to collect nuts from another architectural looking stump which makes a great feeding station and then they hop back over the bridge and bury there bootie over on the otherside!
