| | | Grey Squirrel caught in the act Taking some action shots of a tree rat Jumping around. I notice from the photos, he was nipping all the fresh buds off. You can see where there bitten off.
Regards

I know lots of people don't like them because of the troubled red but i like squirrels regardless. |

I can remember the chases and good hidings the keeper dished out to me and my mates all those years ago. Today its full of Squirrels and magpies. And the Squirrel's are jumpy for they are forever kept on their toes as the dogs of the housing estate run amok through the woods and use it as a toilet.I bet the old boy would be rolling in his grave. Its funny but Grey Squirrels sacking nests eating nestlings and eggs, does not provoke the same response as a Mink attacking a swan
And it looks like they are already heavily pregnant

Perhaps that's because the Mink was attacking something people relate to as an icon, where as the Squirrel's evil deeds are done out of sight.

Regards Chris. | He might have said theres no competition because the Grey Squirrel has sacked all their nests ate all their young and removed the native Dormouse
from, where ever the Grey squirrels thrive I have a friend that took some old 35mm shots of a Squirrel sacking and killing, a nearly fledged nest of long tailed tits not the best quality and a bit gruesome. I will see if I can get hold of them.
Regards
