How anyone can approach an animal that is so trusting and do this....cannot find the words to express how I feel without swearing!!!!!
I expect a lot of people who knew the stag feel the same way as you seamus.....so sorry

unfortunately taming of animals often seems to result at the animal eventually being harmed by humans or conversely the animal having to be destroyed as a result of the animal harming a human (due to no longer being frightened of them).
Poor old deer, no fault of its own.... |
