| | | Vole Spoon? Anyone have any information on a vole spoon?
I've heard the term but, despite googling, can't find out any more info. All I know is that vole spoons are some sort of tracking method for water voles, but if anyone has any more details on how you construct and use them, I'd be very grateful. |

| | | re: Vole Spoon? Thanks, Hedge Witch. It was that image which started my querying. I'd like to know the details of how you make one. |

| | | re: Vole Spoon? In my earlier post I edited out a comment about polystyrene pizza bases floating down the brook at the back of Tesco's in Whitchurch. I can't get that out of my mind now! Must be just a simple floating platform anchored to the bank but it must be called a spoon for a reason. |

Here's an article (page 3) from the people who say they invented it

| | | Re: Vole Spoon? That's great, Shirl! All the info I need. I knew I could rely on you lot to help out.
Woodman, a friend of mine did see a water vole 'surfing' down the brook on a piece of wood once. Oh to have had a video camera! | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
