| | | Day Flying Bat in December Hi All
Was visiting my parents a couple of days before Christmas and they told me they had seen a bat flying outside their house during daylight hours. I don't mean dusk, I mean anytime from 11am to 3pm! I saw it for myself about 1.30pm on the day we were leaving.
Would I be right in thinking this was a male that had come out of torpor briefly to feed in conditions he thought were suitable?
Anyone got any other explanations?
Thanks |

Thanks | Could equally be a female - they sleep no more soundly than the males!
