| | | Confused Stoat There was a heavy frost last night, all the ditches were frozen over. I spent an interesting few minutes this afternoon watching a stoat running out of the reed bed onto the ice, standing there for a few seconds and then running back into the reeds.
He did this at least haf a dozen times before wandering off into the longer grass. Quite entertaining, It was as if he couldn't understand how he could walk on what he knew as water.

The ice is starting to melt, if he keeps it up he will go for a swim. |
